Course content and topics:
- Learn the latest techniques from seasoned educators with an extensive background in the foot care and medical industries
- Learn the implications of diabetes and chronic illness for the pedicurist as well as techniques for pedicuring seniors
- Learn in-depth information on the common structural deformities, diseases and disorders of the skin and nail of the feet
- Learn new pedicure techniques including a Brace Technique for involuted nails and toenail reconstruction, in our hands-on practical workshop
- Learn how to implement the 3 R’s “Recognize – Recommend – Refer”
In-class Hands on Practical
- Demonstration
- Practice new techniques on each other (all class attendees will perform and receive a CMP service)
- Receive an 8 piece implement kit and 3 bits to be used in the class. (bits and e-files are available to share if you do not have one)
- Attendees are required to bring their own towels, foot baths, gloves and masks to use in the class. (Optional: can also bring light, pedi-stool, trolly etc. if class is held in a hotel conference room)
- Models are required on practical days
