- Anatomy of the foot
- Introduction to foot structure, body alignment, biomechanics, and how these impact the pedicure
- Structural deformities of the foot
- Diseases and disorders of the skin and nail
- Understanding the skin on the feet
- Different products used in the management of skin and nail problems
- Specialty nail services
- Sanitation, disinfection, and sterilization
- Implications of diabetes and chronic illness on the pedicure
- Practical experience working on each other and on models
- Applying specialty techniques
- Practical experience with implements and electric files and burs
- Promoting yourself through marketing and sales
- How to perform a thorough consultation and evaluation practicing the 3 R’s

recently attended the Certified Master Pedicurist class in Orlando. I have, in the past, attended certification courses in several industries, but I have to say, this was an excellent course. Firstly, Brenda and Vicki shared their extensive knowledge and experience. They were extremely hands-on with a large class, and directed closely so ensuring that all students were helped at their individual level. Also, the two additional instructors, Jae and Lourdes, were extremely attentive and shared their excellent experiences. I am so looking forward to my next opportunity to continue my education with this wonderful school!
I took the Certified Master Pedicure Class with The North American School of Podology. This class is incredible! I highly recommend this class. Not only do you get way more extensive knowledge of feet and conditions that we have all wondered about as Estheticians but the educators are fantastic! So knowledgeable and passionate! A previous review of one star noted that NASP is not an accredited college, is a ridiculous review and completely irrelevant. Accreditation is given for full time studies in Ontario Colleges and makes them eligible to offer OSAP. The courses at NASP are supplemental upgrade programs for professionals already practicing.
To that effect I would like to advise anyone considering any of the course offerings at the North American School of Podology to not hesitate. If you care about feet – you will gain all of the knowledge you need to go from being good to great!
I recently took your Toenail Restoration and Corns & Calluses Classes at Premier Orlando. I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for those courses and to let you know how much I appreciate your dedication, expertise, and passion for education.
Throughout the course I was impressed by your ability to combine theory and practical applications, such as your last demo on fallen arches and balance. Your commitment to providing comprehensive and engaging lessons was evident from the very first class you taught on day one to the end of day two.
I can’t wait to go back and share the knowledge I gained with my team and to continue to explore more about how I can better serve my clients’ feet. I have about 10 pages of notes to organize into something a bit more cohesive. Lol
